The theme of this poster is “Equality.” The red bricks that look like heels for men and women’s shoes show the equal sign when put together. I added a Farsi translation for “Equal” using men and women’s socks. On International Women’s Day in 8 March 2012, “Poster for Tomorrow” issued its call for entries for the theme “Gender Equality Now.” My poster was selected by the jury as most relevant to the given theme and current issues.
