Rooted in Heritage, Designed for Creativity

A reimagined emblem for the Hong Kong Design Institute, inspired by the national flag, and powered by pens—the spirit of design. I designed the logo and concept for the Hong Kong Design Institute. It draws direct inspiration from the Hong Kong national flag; blending cultural identity with creative expression. In place of the traditional stars, five finely crafted pen icons form a dynamic floral pattern—symbolizing the tools of design, learning, and imagination. Each pen represents a pillar of creative education, unified in motion and meaning. The result honors tradition while looking boldly toward the future of design.
